FAQ

How long will it take to receive our photos?

Typically, sneak peeks are delivered within a few days, and full galleries are delivered in about a week to two weeks. I am a mother, so sometimes my life gets hectic! Most of the time it takes about a week, I just like to have that open time just in case something comes up.

How should we dress for our family session?

I offer style guides, which include outfit tips and colors inspiration to help you feel confident and coordinated. You can also send me pictures if you need help choosing!

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking an early as possible to secure your preferred date, especially during the busy seasons (spring, summer, fall, & holidays). However, feel free to reach out - I may have last minute openings too!

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure your session date & time. The remainder is due on or before your session date!

I require a 25% retainer for weddings to secure the date, and the remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your wedding. You can make payments as well.

Do you help with posing and working with little ones?

Absolutely! I give gentle guidance and prompts so you never feel awkward or unsure. I also just let the kids play! My goal is to capture natural, relaxed moments that feel like you - not stiff, forced poses.

What if someone gets sick and we can’t make it?

The health of your family - and mine - comes first. If you, your children, or someone in your household is feeling unwell or showing symptoms, we can reschedule with zero stress. I completely understand how unpredictable little ones can be, and I always do my best to accommodate another date that works for you. Any amount paid toward your session will transfer to the rescheduled date.

Please communicate with me, do not no call no show. We can still reschedule after a no call no show, but you must pay a new retainer if you choose to reschedule.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

I totally understand- I’m a parent too. Kids don’t need to sit perfectly still or smile on command. We’ll take breaks, play games, and go with the flow. Some of the sweetest moments come from real interactions, not forced smiles.
